Woman's Day - Congrats!

A luta das mulheres pela igualdade é uma luta colectiva, pertence à Historia da humanidade, pertence à História de todos que acreditam em direitos humanos e deve ser celebrada/lembrada por todos independentemente do sexo, idade ou das suas convicções politicas e/ou religiosas.

É difícil explicar o orgulho que sinto em ser mãe, esposa, colega, filha, amiga, companheira, enfim MULHER, e hoje é um dia tão bom como qualquer outro para lembrar, não só desse orgulho mas também o facto de ainda haver tantas mulheres por esse mundo fora que não podem viver na sua plenitude a simples condição de ser MULHER. Mulheres/meninas que são maltratadas, abusadas, diminuídas, rebaixadas, desconsideradas, violentadas, desprezadas, esquecidas, tudo por serem do sexo 'oposto'.

Parabéns a todas as SUPER MULHERES e a todos que caminham ao seu LADO, hoje e sempre!

 

The struggle of women for equality is a collective effort, belongs to the history of mankind, belongs to the history of everyone who believes in human rights and should be celebrated/remembered by all regardless of gender, age, or of their political and/or religious beliefs.

It's hard to explain the pride I feel in being a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, companion, wife, a WOMAN, and today is as good a day as any to remind not only of that pride but also the fact that there are still so many women around the globe who may not live in its fullness the simple condition of being a WOMAN. Women/girls who are mistreated, abused, diminished, relegated, disregarded, abused, neglected, forgotten, all because they are of the ‘opposite sex'.

Congratulations to all the SUPER WOMEN out there and to all who walk BESIDE them, today and always!
